I want to hide few icons from the phone/homepage/menu coz, I dun want others to use that app. Is there any app available on the market?
I want to hide some apps on my android mobile phone. I am using Samsung Galaxy S2 and I want to hide some apps on it.
The galaxy s2 has few unneeded preinstalled APPs.. I heared unstalling is hard cos I have to root.
I want some where to hide pictures on my phone, is there any way to do ... how to show hidden folders and it will hide it from apps like "Gallery".

That's because it's a stock Samsung firmware, so if you flash a stock firmware ... from sd card in recovery. thing is it needs to be stored on an external sd card ..... when I tried to check the md5sums (in fact, the md5sums text file was empty).
SD Card blank or has unsupported filesystem means your SD Card has corrupted data.
The only way is to get it normal is to Format it.
Now what about the Data on SD Card ?
If you are using Linux Machine then there is something called TestDisk. Install it on your PC. Now connect your phone with SD Card inserted to you PC. Run TestDisk and follow the options that it shows. Backup the Uncorrupted Data to your PC and format the SD Card from your Phone.

I just picked up a Samsung Galaxy S II 4G to upgrade from my Motorola Triumph. One of the first things I noticed is how poor the WiFi signal is of the SGS2 compared to the MT. Sitting about 6 feet from the router side-by-side the MT next to the SGS2 shows the MT has much better WiFi signal strength. I used WiFi Analyzer to compare the signals.

When I go to settings to try to change the level of brightness, this is greyed out and cannot be selected.
So my Galaxy S II's battery is now pretty low (4%) and the brightness setting appears to be greyed out - I can't even get into the option to change the brightness or turn on auto. Is there a way around this? Regardless of whether it saves power, I'd still rather have full control over my brigthness settings.

My phone keeps freezing at least once a day so I have to take the battery out for the phone to reset. Model number GT-I.
my s2 keeps freezing, has constant drag and is just being a tad bit annoying. i bought the phone new, i had rooted it
